WOW!!!!!!! What a blast!! We gave this amp away at InMotion's Back to School Bash featuring Pillar, Kingsdown, PLU, and guest speaker RUNKS on Saturday night, August 16th, 2008, in Cabot, AR. This was one of the coolest events Monster Factory has been a part of to date. The amp was won by Dillon Garcia of Jacksonville, AR. Way to go, Dillon!!!
This is another amp that we've "MONSTER-ized". The recipe is simple: Start with an Epiphone Valve Junior, rip the guts out, and then take it farther than anyone else has done before. Stir well and this is the result:
· Single channel preamp w/ single-ended power amp in Class A2.
British voiced preamp from the 80’s metal days with three gain stages and a unity buffer - all powered by 12AX7/ECC83 dual triodes.
· Two-band, scooped mid equalization with gain control and master volume. Cleans up well at any gain setting using guitar volume control.
· Speaker emulated line out for sound reinforcement and/or recording specially matched to replicate a 4x12 cab.
· Power amp mute switch for silent recording or live silent stage setup.
· 1xEL84 tube in the power amp delivering about 5 watts to any 4, 8, or 16 ohm load.
· Matching 1x10, 8ohm, 60W floor monitor.
